How, as you and Director Rice have noted, and you have explained thoroughly in other sources besides this course, by forward deployment. Creating a safe environment without nation building or trying to make a country like Afghanistan into Denmark as you have said.
Our allies must share the burden as the situation we had in Afghanistan and Iraq before the errant abandonment of both of those countries.
