How can we improve health care coverage without moving to a single-payer system?

The single-payer system has many flaunts which restrict the ability to serve all patients. The system limits the number of qualified medical professionals, which requires many long hours for patient visits, so if the government would inject more financing into the system, which would allow more trained professionals, more current drugs to treat the patients, and upgrade all facilities. If the government tried this method seems more trained professionals would not seek private opportunities to make better salaries
