An individual that is passionate about learning and inspiring the next generation, dedicated to understanding their students' needs and learning capacities, and a caring, patient spirit that is still open to learning themselves.

Communication skills, both giving and receiving. It doesn’t matter how great of an expert the teacher is if they cannot reach their students and deftly sort through all the false starts of each person’s learning process. In my own experience I too often saw teacher and student unable to get on the same page with each other despite earnest effort from both parties.
